![]() Is this also possible with subtitles? And if so, how? Originally posted by anubiandragon:To get the original intro back: You can find it on the workshop for this game. Of note, if you watch the cutscene to completeion you get the normal loading music, but if you skip the cutscene you get the DLC loading music.ĮDIT: Considering the confusion and difficulty in setting this up and getting the subtitles to work, I've set aside my paranoia and made a mod for it, for the players' convenience. I'd share this on the workshop, but the Steam agreement says original content and there's none of that here, just some file re-labeling. You can make a custom mod, though, that uses the original intro, by copying the three folders mentioned above into whatever other mod's folder you are using. (7) If you pick another mod, you'll get the Nocturna cutscene again. Also, check the box "Launch this mod by default" to ensure the mod runs as soon as the game launches, or you'll see the Nocturna intro again. Don't panic, you have to activate the mod before this will work! Go to the menu, go to mods, and select "Original Intro". (6) Launch Crypt of the Necrodancer and watch Nocturna's opening. Copy "intro.ogg" and paste it in your mod folder "Crypt of the Necrodancer/Mods/Original Intro/music". Copy "intro_silent.ogv" and paste it in your mod folder "Crypt of the Necrodancer/Mods/Original Intro/video". Copy "Mainmenu.png" and paste it in your mod folder "Crypt of the Necrodancer/Mods/Original Intro/mainmenu". (2) Make three folders here: "mainmenu", "music", and "video" Tm tried her hardest to center them, but they are probably a few pixels off or something.Īll the "ghostly" enemies were changed into a few of TM's favorite specters.(1) Go to your Crypt of the Necrodancer Folder, find the mods folder, and make a new folder in it called "Original Intro" or something like that. The base game charms were changed into the stat-boosting orbs. * Zacharie replaces most shopkeepers and vendorsĪll weapons were changed into bats, except for the flower, the lute, and "eli" which have been replaced by a dummy, an inspiration, and a broken clock respectively. * Zacharie as the- You know what? I'm sensing there's going to be a lot of repetition if I go down this path, so… * The Pastel Burnt as Nocturna (and a really stupid-looking bat form too!) * A Calvary Burnt as Aria (because that's how I feel whenever I play as her) ![]() She would like to credit steam user "Cyan Sky Knight" their silent mod. She also took some artistic liberties with the color, mostly to increase readability. If you're ever wondering what something is or are a perfectionist like ahe is, all the item names and descriptions are in a renamed XML file. There's a version for both the base game and the DLC. **"This mod uses assets from OFF by Mortis Ghost."** ![]() In OFF's README file, the creator says he doesn't mind if you use the assets, but since he also asked for credit, here it is. This mod is pretty extensive it replaces all the characters, all the weapons, some items, and even a few enemies.TMMMm did most of the sprites herself, the exceptions being Japhet (which she ripped it straight out of the game's files) and the Bestiary pics. This is a port of the OFF skin for Crypt of the NecroDancer by /u/T-M-M-Mm, whos original page of the mod can be found here: (This is for DRM free users) ![]() Well porting this was a collosal waste of time! Have you ever wanted to play Crypt of the NecroDancer with the characters from OFF?!
